Dear Friends! Exactly today, 1st of October, on the day when Ukraine celebrates the Day of defenders of Ukraine – among whom there are many representatives from our sport, as well as on the day of NRL Grand Final, in which the Penrith Panthers team won for the third time in a row under led by head coach Ivan Cleary and team captain and his son – Nathan Cleary, the Ukraine Rugby League is pleased to inform you that two more important events for our community will take place this October – on 14th of October in Sydney, Australia, for the first time in history, a team composed of players with Ukrainian heritage at the Harmony Cup tournament, and on 27-29th of October in Athens, Greece, for the first time during the full-scale military aggression of russia, the National Team of Ukraine, composed of players only from Ukrainian Championship, will play at the Unity Cup tournament.
In connection with these events, Ukraine Rugby League decided to open a fundraising for the families of the deceased rugby league players, and the author of the largest donation will be sent a polo shirt of the Ukraine Rugby League with the signature of the most famous rugby league player with Ukrainian heritage, the 2021 Rugby League World Champion, three-time NRL Champion – Nathan Cleary.
The fundraising begins from the moment of publication of this announcement and will end on 1st of November 2023, on the Birthday of the Ukraine Rugby League, which is already 17 years old this year. We are grateful in advance to everyone who supports Ukraine and our favorite sport in such fateful times for our country!

Саме сьогодні 1-го жовтня, в день коли в Україні святкують День захисників та захисниць України – серед яких багато представників з нашого виду спорту, а також в день фіналу найвідомішої австралійської ліги регбіліг – НРЛ, у якому перемогла вже втретє поспіль команда Penrith Panthers під керівництвом головного тренера Івана Клірі та капітана команди і його сина – Натана Клірі, Українська Федерація Регбіліг рада повідомити Вам, що саме в цьому жовтні відбудуться ще дві важливі події для нашої спільноти – 14 жовтня в Австралії у Сіднеї буде вперше в історії виступати команда складена з гравців з українською спадщиною на турнірі Harmony Cup, а 27-29 жовтня у Греції в Афінах вперше за час повномасштабної військової агресії росії зіграє Національна збірна України, складена з гравців лише українського чемпіонату, на турнірі Unity Cup.
У зв’язку з цими подіями ми вирішили відкрити збір коштів для сімей загиблих регбістів, а автору найбільшого донату буде відправлене поло Української Федерації Регбіліг з підписом найвідомішого гравця у регбіліг з українською спадщиною, Чемпіона світу з регбіліг 2021 року, вже тричі Чемпіона НРЛ – Натана Клірі.
Збір починається з моменту оприлюднення цієї об’яви і закінчиться 01 листопада 2023 на День Народження Українського Регбіліг, якому в цьому році вже 17 років. Заздалегідь вдячні всім хто підтримує Україну і наш улюблений вид спорту в такі доленосні для нашої країни часи!
